ROTATING GRATE BOILER
Rotating grate boiler is composed of the grate and coupled Water Tube boiler. Rotating grate consists of an enclosed steel structure with profile framework. The Water Tube boiler radiation field on the structure is completely empty and designed to be able to burn coal easily.
After the combustion is complete, the gas passes to the convection zone and leave the boiler by completing the passage through the evaporator
The grates are manufactured from casting steel alloy and high heat resistance.
There are cyclone filters and wet scrubber in the system for removing the flue gases from the dust particles and for eliminating the sulfur dioxide gases.
The ash from the grate surface is continuously and automatically discharged.
The system is controlled by PLC and SCADA and is operated fully automatically.
Material
Drum and other sheet parts are produced from boiler sheet according to EN 10028-2.
Wall and evaporator tubes are according to EN 10216 – 2, P235GH/ P265GH.
Combustion chamber
Combustion chamber is constructed by membrane wall as completely gasproof and consist of radiation and convection heat transfer areas.
Evaporator
Evaporator tubes are on the second gas pass and are menufactured with straight tubes or fin tubes.
Project and Manufacturing
Water tube boilers are manufactured according to EN 12952. Nobo controls the every stage of our manufacturing. The control stages are as follows;
- Project and strenght calculations control
- Material control and stamp
- NDT test
- Hydrostatic pressure test
- Manufacturing control according to approved project
- Quality file
